Sulphuric acid, or Oil of Vitriol, has the formula H2SO4. The mineral acid is free from colour and comes in a liquid state, and is soluble in water. Oil of Vitriol is made of hydrogen, oxygen and sulfur, and the mineral acid is incorporated in profoundly exothermic reactions.
