Ethyl Acetate (ETAC)
Ethyl Acetate (ETAC), also known as Ethyl Ethanoate, is an organic compound with formula C4H8O2. It is a clear, colourless liquid with a typical odor and sparingly soluble in water. This colorless liquid has a characteristic sweet smell and is used primarily as a solvent and diluent for the production of glues, coatings and removers of paint and nail polishes.
